We let Pepper venture outside the other day. First we put the dogs in the laundry room. Even with that, Trinity couldn't let the little guy out of her sight. **

I have been pondering for the longest time... what are these stone posts I keep seeing every now and again? Are they old-time mile markers? I wonder what they used to say on them. Anyone? Anyone?

Hailey wanted me to take pictures of her doing flips on the tramp. She thought this one was "so awesome".

::03/19/2010::

My first attempt at taking pictures of the night sky. The moon wasn't even close to being full, but it looks like it is. I broke my tripod so it will be a while before I do this again.

No pictures again. :(

Kitty loooves water! LOL. He is so easily entertained, it's crazy. Must be the siamese in him. Oh, and by the way, the girls renamed him Pepper. **

Spread those toes, Trinity!! **

::03/07/2010::

There's been a lot of this popping up around here lately. I'm hoping the nicer weather will motivate me to take more pictures.
::02/23/2010:: - ::03/06/2010::

So....consider this 365 project a complete failure. LOL! I lost my motivation to take pictures everday. I guess it was bound to happen, considering I've been working nights and sleeping the days away. I'm going to do what I can to continue taking pictures, but I highly doubt there will be one for every day.

Hailey shooting at the range during her Hunter Safety class last year. She cannot wait to go hunting next year. She even got what she wanted for her birthday this year.... a rifle. **

The girls got a new pet this morning. They named him... Kevin. Really?? I think I'll just call him kitty for meow. LOL! ( I couldn't resist. :p )

Her kick was a little low, but would probably be just as effective.

Artwork by Alex, my 15 year old niece. This will have to go in a frame. She may be famous for her work someday. :)

Hailey taking the ball down the court. She ended up losing it, but the team won their first game 18-16.

I can't remember where this was taken...some backcountry road overlooking the Payette River at Smith's Ferry. **

I've gotten behind a bit on posting current pictures, so I'm putting up some other pictures instead. Throughout this blog, you may have notice this symbol (**) at the end of a post on certain days. That's basically just saying that the photo wasn't taken on the date posted. There will more than likely be a lot of those.

This was taken on October 2008, opening day of deer season. We rode on horseback from the top of West Mountain to that cabin in which we stayed in. There wasn't any snow when we rode in. We hiked out in the morning for the hunt and found the deer that Carl had spotted the night before. That's him packing the horns and hide back to the cabin. He went back with the horses to pack out the meat. The worst part of the whole trip was riding out back to the truck. With winds of about 30+ mph, the wind chill had to have been well below zero. It was pretty scary hearing those winds howl through the trees. I was just waiting for something to break off and crash down on me or have the horse spook and take off with me. **

It's basketball time again...time to work on my shutter speed so I can get some great action shots.
