::02/11/2010::

I've gotten behind a bit on posting current pictures, so I'm putting up some other pictures instead. Throughout this blog, you may have notice this symbol (**) at the end of a post on certain days. That's basically just saying that the photo wasn't taken on the date posted. There will more than likely be a lot of those.

This was taken on October 2008, opening day of deer season. We rode on horseback from the top of West Mountain to that cabin in which we stayed in. There wasn't any snow when we rode in. We hiked out in the morning for the hunt and found the deer that Carl had spotted the night before. That's him packing the horns and hide back to the cabin. He went back with the horses to pack out the meat. The worst part of the whole trip was riding out back to the truck. With winds of about 30+ mph, the wind chill had to have been well below zero. It was pretty scary hearing those winds howl through the trees. I was just waiting for something to break off and crash down on me or have the horse spook and take off with me. **
